What LoanTools is
LoanTools is a free, browser-based EMI and loan cost calculator with accompanying educational content about how loan repayments work. It is a calculation and education tool, not a lender, broker, financial institution, or advisor. LoanTools does not process loan applications, does not connect you with lenders, and does not have the ability to approve, offer, or guarantee any loan, interest rate, or credit decision.
No financial advice
Nothing on this site constitutes personalized financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. The calculator produces estimates based on the numbers you enter and the assumptions described in our methodology page; it does not evaluate your personal financial situation or recommend a course of action. Decisions about borrowing are yours to make, ideally with guidance from a qualified financial professional and your lender’s official documentation.
Accuracy and “as is” use
We aim for the calculator’s formulas to be accurate and to match the methodology described on this site (see our test suite and methodology page for details). That said, LoanTools is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Actual loan terms offered by any lender may differ from the estimates shown here for reasons including but not limited to rounding conventions, taxes, fees, insurance, credit assessment, and lender-specific policy.
Acceptable use

- Use this site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, reproduce, or redistribute this site’s content at scale without permission.
- Misrepresent calculator output as an official quote, offer, or guarantee from a lender or from LoanTools.

Intellectual property
The design, original written content, and calculation implementation on LoanTools are the property of LoanTools unless otherwise noted.
